Summary |
T. C. Thompson Children's Hospital is a full
service teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Tennessee
College of Medicine. It provides the most comprehensive pediatric care
available, featuring the state's only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center,
one of five Perinatal Centers of Excellence, and a Level III Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit. State of the art facilities are available to meet
the special needs of children. Additional subspecialties include
cardiology, neurophysiology, genetics, physical therapy,
allergy/immunology, endocrinology, hematology, oncology, infectious
disease, neonatology, neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology,
pulmonology, pediatric intensive care, pediatric surgery, and pediatric
anesthesiology.
The Tennessee Craniofacial
Center, part of the Erlanger Health System, is located in Chattanooga,
Tennessee. The Center, led Larry A. Sargent, M.D., specializes in the
evaluation and treatment of patients of all ages with craniofacial deformities.
